Gary's Story
Life
After graduation from Buffalo in '74 I accepted a football scholarship to WV Wesleyan in Buckhannon, WV. Four yrs. later I earned a BS degree in Health/P.E. in '78. For 2 yrs. I worked odd jobs before getting a job at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Feb. '80. Worked for 1 year in Radiology then transferred to the Pharmacy dept. where I worked as a Pharmacy Tech for 15 yrs. In '94 I tested for, and received, certification nationwide as a Registered Pharmacy Tech. In '96 I transfered to the Maintenance Dept. My duties include repair of various types of equipemnt including water pumps, exhaust fans, wheelchairs, furniture, small appliances, and housekeeping equipment. More recently, in 2002, I became certified in hospital bed repair. I am still single and not really looking (I gave up) but I keep my eyes open. ha ha I guess that's about it. Pretty boring "Life Story", huh? I am now living in Ona, WV on Howell's Mill Rd. I am in the phone book and would love to hear from you. Give me a call.

Another question was: "Where have you lived? Why did you move?" In August of '74, after committing myself to attending WV Wesleyan College and signing a letter of intent to play football, I moved to Buckhannon, WV. I lived in the same dorm for the entire 4 years I was there. In '78 after graduation I moved back home to my parent's house, near Lavalette on what was then Rt 52, but now Rt 152, just above Ace (Queen's) Hardware on the hump. In '80 I moved into a small apartment on Rt 75 and lived there for about a year, then reluctantly moved back home due to financial embarrassment. In '82 I moved in with a friend on Buffalo Creek Road in Ohio (near the 17th St. West bridge). I lived there for about 6 months. I then moved into a small apartment on Camp Creek Rd in Lavalette and lived there for about 1 year. I then purchased a mobile home in Chesapeake, OH on the river, one block from the 6th St bridge. I lived there until Feb. '92. My grandparents house was empty and I was the soul heir, so I moved back out to Lavalette and into the stone house, just above where I grew up. I lived there until Nov. 2001 when I purchased a beautiful home on a hill in Ona where I live now.
