Its amazing how time flies and life evolves and changes. After dropping out of Lincoln, joining the US Navy and serving for a number of years, I found myself back in the Military as a Reservist and in Iraq. Along that path I obtained a BS Degree and utilized it in the SeaBees while forward deployed to the ¿ Big SandBox¿ just outside of Baghdad International Airport and parts North, South, East and West. Because of some hearing loss, brought on by a mortar attack while in Fallujah, I left the SeaBees but returned to Iraq as a contractor. I have been in Afghanistan on two of the larger bases, a few of the forward Operating Bases and then returned to Iraq in Dec of 2009 for a short stint before stopping in Kuwait with the expectation of returning to Southern Iraq in the very near future.
