ROCKIN IT OUT
One of my fondest memories from Highschool was during my senior year in the last days of highschool when somehow we got permission to setup our rock instruments in the old gym... It was a classic face-off of The Quads (my band) versus another band... can't recall their name.. And we even had a guest guitarist (Eric Chard) sit in with us on a couple songs.. (don't know why he had his guitar there?!) I remember playing in front of quite a few fellow students rockin the place... ah, what a great time... and of course we kicked the other band's ass. :P
MUSCLE BOUND
Probably the coolest stunt I got to pull in my senior year was during a senior rally when I was asked to model some school spirit wear... I had a Zebra's tank top on underneath a Wayne sweatshirt, and when Trene Pietz announced me I ripped the sweatshirt off and did my best imitation of Hulk Hogan... (not! lolol) That was a blast. No one thought I had the cajones to do it... little did they know ;)
ON THE AM
Another cool thing we got to do was go downtown and check out some english acapella singer-dudes (The King's Singers) with our school singing group, Vocal Dimension. After that we went on a AM radio station and sang some Christmas songs. I don't remember much about it except that it was very touching and brought goose pimples to my skin when we w...Expand for more
ere singing because we were working together so well.... way to go VD! (lol!)
VIRTUAL LIFE
During college I was quite the computer nerd... at a time when only college students and really nerdy adults had computers... (I was the guy in the computer lab who answered your questions in a nice helpful way) and of course I got involved in competitive LAN computer gaming. After college and after getting into the patterns of life I like to call Domestic Bliss (TM) or Living the Dream (TM), I continued my computer gaming quite extensively... Now, I run a relatively large online gaming community called, The Art of Warfare. It's a military style team and we play all kinds of games competitively and have around 700 members... My "callsign" is Fox.
MY KID IS IN MIDDLESCHOOL!!!!!
I can't frickin believe it.. Michelle and I have three wonderful daughters and our oldest is in middleschool!! Frick! Dang, this sure is a wakeup call it's like one minute your handling " 3P Fluid Management" (pee, poop, puke) and the next their solving algebraic equations for you.. oh well, the really cool thing is they're all interested in singing or playing guitar etc.. so hopefully I'll get my chance to live vicariously and be an overbearing producer dad catapulting my three little "meal tickets" in to fame and stardom. :P I'm really not that mean...lololol
