Gary's Story
Well if you remember me , I lived on Oakwood Ave across the street from VP Mr. Matthews. I did quite well for myself working in Casino Gaming in Reno and Lake Tahoe. I have three children and am retired in So. Cal. I am divorced . I used the GI Bill back in 1973 and moved to Chambersburg PA. where I Arc welded for awhile and went to telephone Lineman school and graduated and worked for Henkel and McCoy. ecame a slot mechanic and a Slot Supervisor During my work at John Ascuagas Nugget I met many stars like Red Skelton, Liberace, Bill Cosby and Juliet Prowse and later Ronald Reagan. I then moved to Lake Tahoe where I worked at Harveys Hotel for 4 years up until about 1984 and then moved back to Reno and worked at The El Dorado Casino where I was a Slot Manager. I then moved to SoCal and did internal investigations for retail stores in Palm Springs and then moved to Ontario Calif.
