Gary's Story
When I left AHS, I attended the U. of North Alabama for two years. I completed my BA degree at David Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN. At that time I went to Auburn University for 2 1/2 years and studied Foresty. But that was not for me. So from there I entered a small Christian University in North Alabama and earned my second BA degree. While there I traveled to Africa and Europe. Afterwards, I made random trips to Canada, the West Coast (Mexico, California and Alaska) and around the Caribbean. I finally settled down in Memphis, TN. and signed on with FedEx Express and transferred to Asheville, NC in 1985 where I worked until I took early retirement in December, 2005. tate investing, and some network marketing. I am now in insurance sells. I married Peggy, my wonderful, loving (she put up with me all this time) wife and we settled just outside Asheville, NC where we hope to live until the taxes on our property are prohibitive (that seems to be not too far off). We have three children, and the youngest, Jennifer, is getting married this September 19 at Emerald Isle, NC. Jennifer is 30 and waited for the right man-we prayed a loooottt. Lee is a calm, level headed young man and we love him and are proud that he will be a part of our family. The other two kids are boys and they are 38 and 40. Michael and Eddie.
