Gary's Story
Life
I've been in the Air Force since graduation. I've traveled all over Europe and the Middle East. I retired from the Air Force this past year and I am enjoying the civilian lifestyle. I worked in Doha, Qatar in the Middle East for 8 months as a contractor with the U.S. Military. I took a year off to take care of some medical problems and then went to work as a contractor for NASA at a forward tracking station on Ascension island in the south Atlantic for 6 months. I now work in Albany, Ga at the Marine Corps Base repairing communications equipment for the military. Still haven't gotten traveling out of my system yet I guess. I plan on going up to New Hampshire to visit later ...Expand for more

Workplace
I'm currently working at the Marine Corps Logistics Base, Albany, Ga. I started ther in September of 2005. I repair and modify communications equipment for the US Military. I've got a fun crew to work with. There is a 50 year old guy here that still likes to hunt alligators every now and then.
Military
Too many hours and too many trips to the same places (Middle East) helped make the decision to go ahead and retire from the Air Force after 20 + years. I'm gonna sort of miss it but I look forward to new challenges that await me.
