Gary's Story
Life
No I am not the Archduke of Thomas Jefferson, that was my older Brother, Randel ("JR"). His antics have not changed, he now is a puppeteer & does educational videos for young children. He & I are very different from each other in who we socialize with and our 'takes' on monetary pursuits. He can be reached at mcgee productions dot com.
I have a few fond memories from high school and that era, but not many. I became much-more social after high school. Left home at an early age and lived in Redondo, where Wooten park is now, next door to Dean Love (TJ-74 grad).
My 'better-half' and I volunteer in the community by assisting people to find them employment. We provide resume construction, job-search workshops and networking seminars to those looking. Most have been in the professional trades i.e. Engineers, Office Managers, CPA's etc.
We enjoy volunteering in the community to provide assistance to our schools and churches for educational and monetary needs. I began writing employment articles for a local Christian publication about 10 years ago. That blossomed into writing for many co...Expand for more
mmunity newspapers throughout the United States.
I worked many labor positions in my youth and then studied drafting and engineering. Most recently (14 years ago) I opened an industrial distribution company - built it up and sold it in 2005, as well as some real estate holdings. Semi-retired & moved to St. George, Utah.
Bored with retirement I moved back to So. California (LaLa Land)and went to work with a small industrial rep business. Life is good & I have been blessed with many friends and associates throughout my life. Although I have no children, I seem to play Uncle Gary to 36 nieces and nephews as well as those struggling youth that are looking for some "direction" in their lives.
It would be difficult for me to assume people would know what type of person I would turn out to be since I was such a mixed-up young man of little notoriety or social class. It was easy to shed the old Gary and become what and who I wanted to be.
I have fond memories of a few friendships and associations, those interested in contacting me, do not hesitate to do so - all e-mails will be responded to.
