Life My career and main enterprise has been to ask questions about existence and the environment we occupy including the rest of the universe, micro and macro, to look in places that almost no one else would think to look for answers. I've learned to see life this way: We have a finite amount of time on this plane and we don't have a clue really what existence is or the origin of the framework to which our being is hinged so its always a good time to explore the environment for answers and more questions and to share information with others. At first it seemed so mind bogglingly confusing that the only real sensible approach was to forget about it. But the curiosity would well up and take over again and again. After a while I couldn't look away. It is especially easy to search for answers about our existence now that we have this great source of information, the(albeit sometimes faulty but mining the gems can be rewarding) internet. Whats your take on existence? Before 9/11 I used to stroll the streets of Aspen with a video cam asking people questions. My favorite question: "What one question would you ask of the ultimate authority on everything?" Twenty percent of people asked: "Why do I exist?" When pressed though only a very small percentage of those had done much to explore nor were they likely to go any further than idle conjecture.
