Gary's Story
Gary Otterpohl joined Bloomberg, L.P. in 1992. Bloomberg, L.P. is a global information service company that provides financial tools and data in an all-inclusive platform.
Mr. Otterpohl has held various visible positions in C-suite groups throughout his tenure at Bloomberg, L.P. His first role was working for the Director of Sales. He was then promoted to internal auditor directly reporting to Michael Bloomberg. He then went on to assist the CEO.

itor firm wide ticketing systems; and creating the first fulfillment center for marketing material efficiency. He was the first manager of the call center for the analytics help desk and implemented an ACD system.
Before joining Bloomberg, L.P., Mr. Otterpohl worked at major companies including Goldman Sachs in the operations division for the international trading desk, Citicorp as an operations officer, and IDD Information Services as a senior consultant.
A summa cum laude graduate, Mr. Otterpohl earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Long Island UniversityâÂÂs C.W. Post campus. He also served as a Resident Assistant and participated in a co-op education internship at IBM as a Marketing Support Rep.
