Gary's Story
It is hard to believe, but I have lived in Santa Rosa, NM for almost 28 years now. It has been a very interesting and enjoyable 28 years though. During the school year I teach 6th grade Earth Science, 8th grade Algebra, and 8th grade Spanish and work for the Thompson Cattle Company as a day laborer when time permits during the school year, and most of the summer months. Many of my teachers from Murray High School will be pleased to know that Karma does exist, what went around comes around, etc, as I now teach Junior High myself. the past few years and is doing quite well for himself. My long time companion, Juanita, passed away from cancer nearly 5 years ago. My "herd" now consists of myself, my dog Maxie, and my mare Conchita who is the latest in my working horses. I have been very lucky to have traveled in the world, am going to England next summer (2010) for some time in Cornwall on the coast and London, and have enjoyed Italy and Vienna immensely as well as Mexico. I am very involved in music, have played guitar for many, many years and continue to sing (thank you Ms. Rush for instilling a love of music). While I cannot make it to the reunion this summer due to scheduling problems, I am coming to Minnesota for a visit in July.
