Edgardo's Story
Life
Living in Florida for the past 24 years; presently residing in the Miramar/Hollywood area with my wife, son and daughter. I originally came down to Miami in January 1980 to attend a medical lab technical school and, with the exception of a couple months, never left Florida. I know being an ex-New Yorker in Florida is extremely rare but I managed to acclimate myself. I can not imagine living anywhere else. I have not been to NY in over 23 years. winter season--because my family has never been there, or seen snow. After I finished techical college in 1981 I attended a few other schools and worked at one or two (or eight!) different jobs over the years. Although there are a few life experiences that are still incomplete, I would not change anything in my life. My family and my extended family (mother, sister, aunt, cousin) are currently living within 45 minutes of my house and that is my greatest comfort. I feel very blessed.
