After high school I went in the Navy and served for 10 years as a Jet engine mechanic. I was stationed for 3 years in VFA-192 an F/A-18 squadron onboard the USS Midway (which is now a museum in San Diego) based out of Japan. While there I served in operation desert shield and desert storm in the Persian Gulf War. After I left VFA-192 I got married in Sep. 1991. Then I was station at NAS Whidbey Island, WA for 3 years overhauling A-6 and EA-6B engines. Then I was stationed in VFA-113 in Lemoore, CA. While I was in the Navy I've almost been all the way around the world. a, Hong Kong, and the Philippines. When I got out of the Navy I moved to Everett, WA in 1997. There I worked for BF Goodrich Aerospace. At BF Goodrich Aerospace I worked on overhauling Boeing 737s. In 1998 I moved to Marysville, WA where I still live. In Nov. 2000 I started working for Alaska Airlines as an Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic where I work out in hangar line. The funniest part of where I work is getting to drive airplanes from the hangar to the gates in the mornings for the first flight of the day. After being an aircraft mechanic for about 19 years now and I still love it and couldnt imagine doing anything else. Then in 2004 I got separated from my wife and now loving the single life. I have girls and a boy, Shawn 14, Danielle 13 which both live with me.
