Gary's Story
Life
Moved to Wisconsin in September 2006. I guess I missed the snow. I live 20 miles west of Lake Michigan. I resigned from IBM for an easier life, BUT, I am still building race cars, and plan to race locally in Wisconsin in 2008! My plans are to make a US super truck schedule (part-time) in 2008, and try to qualify for a NCWS race in late 2008 or 2009 at the Milwaukee mile.
School
My biggest crush. Hmmm ... I plead the 5th!!! What did every teenage boy like in the 80's growing up? Fast cars, loud guitars, and wild, wild women, right? The only teacher that inspried me most was life itself. That teacher is always with you, no matter what, and BOY, an you be taught some lessons! If I had to do it all over again, I would do it all over again. Just the same way, except saved more money from 1987 to 1995. Then, I wouldn't have to work anymo...Expand for more
re. My best memory of school was throwing my cap into the sky, and being done with that part of my life. I waited four years looking out the window, and that final day at 2:45PM was the best damn day of my high school life!
College
School, school, school! Are we ever really done with school? Still taking courses, classes, etc ... in a career that drains the financial heck out of your wallet, and gives back layoff every 5 years or so. I must be crazy. Should of stuck with racing cars and flying 4 seater planes!
My unique roommate. I wonder what ever happened to JoAnn? Initially, she was my roommate, then my girlfriend for almost 4 years. She moved to Florida, and I went dirt track racing. I found a picture of her the other day, that cute thing!
