Gary's Story
Well here it is June 2009. It has been about three years since I gave an up date. As some of you know that if I hadn't moved during the summer before my senior year I would have been a member of the 1956 graduating class.
Since my last entry I have grown a little older, now isn't that a suprise!!! I guess all of you have endured the same. Currently summering four months a year near Wichita KS and spend eight months a year in south Texas where I have a home in a town named Zapata. It is located on the Rio Grande just fifty miles down river fron Laredo. My plans for a summer home in the Colorado Rockies sort of lost out to lung problems. The altitude doesn't agree with me these days. But what the heck, at seventy I still feel lucky to be looking at the green grass from the top side.

ound the house. This coming winter I will be constructing a new 14'x24' art and craft studio for my wife along with writing another book, and serving as VP of a home owners assoc.
Have to say the retirement years are a lot better than I had hoped for. The wife and I still enjoy traveling as much as we can squeese in. This summer has been restricted due to needed renovations to the house in KS because of the basement being flooded due to receiving 6.5 inches of rain in four hours.
But we are currently planning a thirty day trip up thru Canada and all of the new England States during September and early October of next year. Yes, I'm a trained Engineer, so I have to plan everything to the smallest degree much to my wife's distress. Ha Ha
Just wanted to say "Hi" again and let the classmembers know I'm still alive and kicking.
