Believe it or not, I've done public
service announcements for
Partnership for Drug-Free America
on national TV and USA TODAY.
I've been on the 700 CLUB and TV talk show OXYGEN.
These spots deal with the death and
bad outcomes associated with the
club drug Ecstacy.
I have no moral, ethical, political or
religious views on substance abuse.
How could I, with the way that I used
my recreational time during my
formative years? I appear on these
spots as a physician with factual
information so that people can make
their own decisions.
I've also showed up on a the NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC CHANNEL on the MUMMY ROAD SHOW. I was part of a documentary and investigative team studying a mummy found in norther...Expand for more

I speak nationally regarding my life as a forensic pathologist and the show CSI.
High school was not one of the better
times in my life, and, some of you . . .
I still don't like very much. But I'de
still be interested in hearing what you
are doing and where your journey
has taken you. Or . . . if we were
never really acquainted, maybe we
could be now.
Workplace
I am a forensic pathologist, medical examiner. I do autopsies and determine cause and manner of death. This requires courtroom testimony and depostitions in Civil Law Suites. I work closely with homicide detectives, Crime Scene Investigators, Lawyers. I'm often at the center of a controversial case and end up on the news a lot. I often have to counsel grieving families and explain the circumstances and cause of death of loved ones. My determinations are often central in sending people to prison, vindicating them, settling insurance claims, improving public safety and education. I'm sometimes asked to do public service announcements. I'm often asked to teach nurses, doctors, lawyers, policemen and the general public about various topics in forensics. I'm fortunate to have association with some of television's crime shows and authors of forensic books. I've always liked taking things apart to see how they worked. I finally found a legal outlet for my eccentric, macabre curiosities.
