Gary's Story
After CR graduation I attended U of Del. John Wild and I roomed together freshman year and sophomore year Ralph Todd and I were roommates. I eventually went to Purdue University for grad school and became a staff member in the Entomology Dept. In 1986 I went to work for the Dept of Defense (Defense Logistics Agency)...Expand for more
as a civilian entomologist, working with military rations. I retired from there in 2016 after 30+ years. I did two 6-month civilian tours in Afghanistan (2012 and 2014). As you can imagine those tours were the highlights of my government career, I got to work with some really great people in a high stress location.
