Life
Entered military service Sept. 16, 1966, married Linda Stroo from Hattisberg, Miss. June 3, 1968, discharged from military Aug. 29, 1970, son Brian born Dec. 22, 1971, son Bruce born June 30, 1975, still live in Perry, worked at The Charles Machine Works Inc. (Ditch Witch) from Jan. 29, 1973, I graduated from NOC at Tonkawa 1979 after four years of night school, wife Linda graduated from NOC 1980 as an RN, two Grandsons Alex born April 12, 1998 (Easter Sunday) & Aiden born June 15, 2007 to Brian and wife Valarie, son Bruce not married yet. Retired from Ditch Witch May 26, 2001 after 28 years. Traveled with Linda for two years, she was a travel nurse. She contracts to hospitals all over the US through different agencies. pril 2002 we were back in Perry, OK, April-July of 2002 we were in Anchorage, AK. In December 2003 I went to work for David Payne, He started a lawnmower repair shop (Payne's Lawn & Power) and asked me to be a part time bookkeeper. Wound up being a full time parts manager. Worked there until July of 2010 and quit, too much stress. December 2010 started working at the Cherokee Strip Museum here in Perry as a part time bookkeeper (Financial Secretary) still there as of October 2012. Linda Retired from nursing in 2008, she did some private care service for a lady for about a year. In 2009 the Saturday after Christmas her mother fell and broke her leg in Mississippi, Linda left the next day to go take care of her mother. She was down in Mississippi until her mother passed away September 17, 2012, now she is back home.
