Gene's Story
Well, here it is:
I moved away from Keokuk April of my Junior Year. This was hard as I had looked forword to graduating with the people whom had become friends with since junior high. I did graduate from Williamsburg HS with a great bunch of people 101 members I believe.
I went into the golf business right after HS and became a PGA professional. with apprentiships in Newton CC, Dyersville CC, SheafferGC Ft Madison, Jester Park GC Granger IA, and then to Arizona Oakcreek CC Sedona, Sedona G...Expand for more
R, Glen Canyon CC Lake Powell and then back to Des Moines Urbandale CC. Became A Class Member PGA of America 1990.
I met my wife Fran of soon to be 24 years of marriage on september 14th 1984 in Des Moines, IA and we now live in Clive IA. I have a Son Tim 16, 2 cats 2 dogs , life is always exciting at the Bears house.
Today I currently work as a Comercial Truck Driver traveling all 48 states. I still find time to be envolved with Teaching the game of Golf specialy the Junior golfers.
