Darrell 's Story
Had a great work life, now retired.
Started out in Des Moines, IA. moved to Santa Ana where I finished Jr. and Sr. years in High School.
Went into Navy at age 17, served on active duty from Dec 1958 through Dec 1960 as Flight Radioman in VR-7 at Moffett Field, Mountain View, Ca. Flew throughout the world. Worked at San Jose Mercury-News, then Mt. View Police Department while graduating from Foothill College and San Jose State.

ervisors of Calif 1975-1976. Became a consultant in 1977 and started own firm (Becker & Bell, Inc.) in 1978--as management representative for public agencies and private firms in labor negotiations and arbitrations. Flew my own plane for 32 years to and from clients, mostly in CA, NV, and AZ.
Lived in Placerville, Ca. for 38 years with motorhome in Indio, Ca.
Taught Labor Relation topics (mostly negotiations) at UCLA, and UC Davis (1975-2012).
Finally sold my plane and it turned into a new Monaco motorhome. Hope to find some of the friends I've lost track of along the way.
