Gino's Story
I wonder what Albuquerque High School in the early 1970's means to you guys. I have never ever learned how to start forgetting my time there. A very impactful time in my life. A lot of me still haunts the stairs and the flagstones of the school at Central and Broadway.
I remember the songs back then sang so often of finding a place in the mountains to live a peaceful world. I made it, you guys. I live in the mountains of central NM in a world i'm creating for myself each day. You ought see what I've done.

twenties. They're good boys and on their way to becoming fine men.
I did a lot of things along the way. I've been a surveyor, an estimator, a banker and a casino dealer. I've loved and been loved. I've hurt some people along the way, but never intentionally and I regret each occurrence.
I see some of my friends from those times pretty regularly. I guess I don't really trust anyone I haven't known for forty years. After turning sixty it's like my head got re-calibrated and reinstalled backwards on my shoulders because it seems so much easier and more enjoyable to view my past than it used to be. I think of you guys often.
