Genevee's Story
Genevee is from Chicago, Illinois. Genevee's schools include Forestville Elementary, Dunbar Vocational and
Dusable High Schoo for which I graduatel. Genevee later attended Wilson Junior College with Associate's in Accouting,(Accounting/Bookeeping) , Cortez Peters Business College ( Office Procedures, Secretarial) . Genevee works(ed) at Retired. Worked as a Administrative Secretary and Medical Secretary.

One of Genevee's favorite quotes is:"My high school graduation quotation (author unknown to me, but it was also our first Black Mayor Harold Washington's) high school quote and it goes like this: Peace if possible but justice at any rate..... Beautiful. However, that is a quote by man. My biblical favorite is from the Book of Psalms: "Do not fret thyself because of evil doers, nor be envious of the workers of iniquity..."".
I was always quiet in school, but managed to stay in mostly honor's classes at Forestville. My High School experience was unique in that I attended two High schools and ultimately graduated from DuSable. I look at my Prom picture sometimes taken at Valentine ----- it's falling apart and I'm trying to restore it.
I came from a huge family with a much older father, a wonderful mother and older siblings that kept me off of the street by being my personal Role Models. I have a son in the National Guards and I'm retired, loving it albeit a tad bored - SOMETIMES!
