Genevieve (Cookie)'s Story
Life
I have been married to my present husband for 25 years and we live in St. Clair Shores, MI.
I enjoyed 25 wonderful years in the legal field. I started out as a legal secretary then got my degree as a legal assistant.
I, along with my husband, retired in the spring of 2000.
We were blessed with our first grandchild in December, 2000 - a Girl!

UPDATE 1/4/10: George and I still have our MI home on Lake Saint Clair but we have a 2004, 38' Pace Arrow RV with 3 slides and is loaded, even has a washer and dryer - it is for sale as we just bought a mobile home in a mobile home/rv park in Coolidge, AZ. 20 some years, seen most of what we have wanted to see and love having a home base in AZ for the winter.
Our granddaughter, Sarah, just turned 9 and a real pleasure. She is a fantastic swimmer and diver.
Daughter, Tammy, got her Juris Doctorate from IU Bloomington in 2003 and presently works for the State of TX. Son-in-law, John, is an electrical engineer.
My cancer which was detected in 12/07 is in remission and I am feeling and doing great. I am in a clinical trial with biophosphates that have proven to prevent metastatic bone cancer. A real break-through. I enjoy being able to help other women with cancer, as I was helped, passing on help and information.
