Gennevia's Story
Life
I am happily married to a wonderful man I met after giving up on dating. We've been married for almost 9 years. He is currently in the Air Force and we are stationed in England. We've done quite a bit of traveling and intend on continuing as long as possible. We have 2 dogs: Danny and Belle. I have finally gone back to school to get my degree in Information Systems Management through UMUC. I should have my Associate's by December 2008 and my Bachelor's December 2010.
School
Best experience was graduating. I had lots of favorite teachers and some not so much. I thought by now I would have graduated college with at least a bachelor's and only dating seriously. But I wouldn't trade now for anything. I'm happily married...Expand for more
to a wonderful man and have seen more of the world than I ever thought I would.
Military
The lady that cut my hair while I was in college said to join the Air Force...take some time off. I said that I'd never do that. I ended up dropping the one class that was related to my major because I hated it. Then family problems. One day in January I picked up the phone and called the Air Force recruiter. Mid-March I was in basic. The best thing about being in....I met my husband.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is a girl named Mandy, because we were friends at Winthrop..
My first job was at Paris Restaurant, where I got paid $20 to bus tables. What I remember most about it is getting job experience.
