Life
Gee, was it really THAT long ago that we were all in high school? After high school, I made the "Texas Tour of Colleges." I attended Baylor my freshman year, Texas A&M my spohomore year, UTA my junior year where I FINALLY decided on my major,and then I finally graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Sports Medicine. After obtaining my degree, I coached volleyball and basketball at DeSoto High School and taught English for one year. My father strongly urged me to get out of coaching--as my degree is in Sports Med and there is more job security in this field. ter at Weslaco High School. After my house was robbed for the SECOND time (in 1995) , I decided to return to civilization and moved to Frankston,TX (35 miles outside of Tyler)and work for East Texas Medical Center in their sports medicine department. We provide Sports Medicine services for the smaller high schools that cannot afford to have athletic trainers on staff. I currently service about four high schools in the East Texas area. Due to all of the running around that I do, I have never found the time to get married or have children although I have not totally ruled out the possibility--one day.
