George's Story
I was a non-athletic, science nerd in high school who worked about 25 hours per week at Acme Supermarket. After leaving Toms River High School, I spent 10 years in Massachusetts where I attended MIT and eventually received a PhD in nuclear engineering. School graduate and moved to New Mexico where I worked for 27 years at Sandia National Laboratories ( a division of Lockheed-Martin). Eventually, I took a government position in the Bush administration in Washington, DC at the National Nuclear Security Administration. In 2011, I retired to Florida where I have been working on a history book. In 2015, I am celebrating 40 years of marriage to my Princeton bride.
