Life
Graduated GCVI in 1964. BSc degree from Rochester in Photographic Science and Engineering(1969). Worked for 3M in Minnesota until 1978 in applied research. Married in 1971. We took two years and back-packed through central and south america returning to Canada in 1978. Karolyn, our daughter was born shortly after we returned. We moved from Toronto area to Vancouver. Divorced in 1984. Returned to Toronto to work as Technical Manager for Konica. Remarried in 1990. Started my own business in environment, health and safety consulting that same year. Now, 18 years later, I've sold the business and retired. Karolyn is now here in Toronto as well, married and is a school teacher. She's a joy to be around.

009. He's wonderful, growing fast and keeping grandpa active. Even more exciting now, Karolyn has a second child - a little girl named Louise-Ann.
Over the past years, I've traveled a lot. I've walked the Camino de Santiago de Compostela in Spain, a 790 km journey a few times, crossed the north Atlantic as crew of a century old tall ship, hiked the Bruce Trail in Ontario and the Avalon Trail in Newfoundland - and still find time to enjoy my grandchildren.
Published my second book entitled Buzzards and Bananas - a travel narrative of South America in the turbulent 70's. Buzzards and Bananas was a finalist in the International Books Awards on Travel. Now I'm working on my third book entitled Topsail- the story of the Atlantic crossing.
If any of my classmates would like to meet for a drink and talk about old times and new adventures, let me know.
