George's Story
Life
Hello classmates, I have been very busy since we graduated from high school. I currently work in education as a high school principal. Believe it or not I have two master degrees. How in the hell did that happen? I am currently working on a doctorate degree as well, however, I have hit a streak of big time lazy. I am physically active, I finally retired from playing softball, however I work out with weights and the treadmill and I also like to play golf.....gotta keep my figure intact..I also went out and did the unexpected, I bought a motorcycle and I am having a lot of fun riding it around. I have been married for 34 years (yes, to the same woman, how crazy is that?) We have three children the two older ones are boys and our daughter is the baby. Our oldest son is a manager with AT&T our middle child is a 7th grade teacher and our daughter works for a Public Relations firm in New York. We have five grand children the oldest is 8 years old and the youngest 4 months old. Our grand-kids are a blast to be with unfortunately they are in Fort Worth Texas....Expand for more
UPDATE: I am now retired as of last summer (2011). Now is the time to have more fun and visit the kids and grandkids more often.
Update #2. On 9/29/17, my adoring wife, Norma, unexpectedly went to Heaven after 43 years of marriage. This was a true shock to me and our three children.. However, as shocking as this was we were fortunate to have received fabulous support from friends, neighbors, and relatives to see us through our time of grief. At this time everyone seems to be doing well.
George
Update: June 2022: I recently became Engaged to marry a wonderful lady named Rosa Peañalber Herrera. We plan to marry this December in Hawaii. I look forward to our nuptials…
I hope to hear from at least one of you..
bye,
George
School
After graduating from Calexico High I attended IVC and after I graduated from IVC I transferred to Fresno State and graduated from there. I then attended graduate school and I received a master's degree in school counseling and a few years later another master's degree in school administration from Fresno Pacific University.
