George's Story
Life
I graduated from St. Paul Central High School on June 6, 1960 and entered the U.S. Air Force on June 12, 1960. I served a total of 6 years on active and reserve duty. I have been happily married to Saralene Ann Lawrence from Bigfork, Montana since December 5, 1963. Our son George was born in August 1964 and daughter Debby was born in September 1965. We have 3 grandsons, 6 great granddaughters and 4 great grandsons. I worked in electronics in the U.S. until July of 1971 then immigrated into British Columbia - Canada. I am now retired. evelopment business. I presently do a lot of volunteer work and serve on the board and executive of several organizations.
School
I attended many schools in several different states and enjoyed going to school, liked the teachers and made a lot of friends.
Workplace
I have had the opportunity to do many exciting things in my work life. I worked in electronics for several years then worked as an electronics technician/industrial electrician for quite a while. I worked as a railway conductor for 24 years. I also owned and served as President of a research and development company.
Military
I served in the U.S. Air Force and enjoyed it very much.
