George's Story
After high school I attended Central Mo State University for one year. Worked a couple of deadend jobs. Worked at Clearfield Cheese til they sold out to Schreiber Foods. Worked there three different times over a 23 year period. Duriing that time I met my wife in beauty school. and we opened our own beauty shopt where we both worked for 17 years. Walmart Distriibution where I worked for 16 1/2 years retiring in 2018. At that time I was appointed as the St. Clair County Assessor where I am still today. During this time we watched our sons get married. We have six grandkids, a girl 5, and the boys are 4, 3, 9 month old twins and a 5 month old. Needless to say it isn't dull at our house when the grands come around. Fortunately, all our kids live close.
