George's Story
I come from North Highlands, California. My wife is Gail Ferraro. I went to Foothill High School and briefly to Houghton High School. I dropped out in the first semester of 11th grade. I later attended CSU, Sacramento (History/Government) and UC Davis School of Law following five years in the army as an 11 B.
My career consisted of representing indigent criminal defendants. The majority of my cases involved homicide appeals. Not too lucrative, but thanks to a lot of opportunities I probably did not deserve, I got to do precisely what I wanted to do. I am in the process of reading the "the 100 most important books in history." I watch way too much TV, but am proud to say I am a charter member of the Jerry Springer fan club. I enjoy travel, but not very often due to cost.
My favorite quotes include "It does not matter how many times they put you down, it only matters how times you get back up.” Additionally, per Plato, I am a strong believer that one should periodically reassess one ideals and beliefs.
All things considered, I am satisfied with my life and moving on with my post-retirement phase. I had a good run.
