George's Story
Life
I have been blessed with a wonderful wife, Kim. Married for 30 years.
We have 2 very cool kids. Our daughter, Olivia 23, a graduate of CU Boulder and grad work in Art director & Advertising. Our son Petros is 18 and will attend Boulder in the Fall of ‘21.preparing to study Psychology.
We live in Danville..a cool town (less fog than my childhood) but only 25 miles from going to Giants games.
Coaching my kiddos in sports over these many years of course is amazing, awesome, entertaining and puts it all into perspecitve.
College
What a great journey. Little did i know that when i enrolled at College of San Mateo to get a Drafting Degree that i would end up with a Masters in Psychology(Azusa Pacific Univ '87-'89) and be a psychotherapist in a counseling practice. istrict of SF and extending into the East Bay.
Somehow all these life experiences have woven together in a way that only God could weave. All of it has been great. Hopefully i continue to be a student of life...of course having kids...i realize that they teach me new lessons everyday <g>
Workplace
I do psychotherapy in a private practice in Pleasanton. I have to admit...I LOVE MY JOB !! I do alot of work with couples, teenagers and family therapy.
I also do alot of teaching in the area of parent education in the Mt. Diablo, San Ramon Valley and Pleasanton School Districts. These speaking engagements have now extended into corporate settings. I’m also Director of Family Wellness for the Metropolis of San Francisco, reach all Greek Orthodox parishes on the west coast.
Thankful for the humble and loving parents that raised us in Westlake that set the Westmoor memories in motion.
There must have been something in the water...maybe the fog that kept us all grounded and grateful !
