George's Story
George is from Boston, Massachusetts. George's schools include South Boston High School. George later attended Northeastern University (Business Administration and Marketing, Economics) .
Following graduation from Northeastern, George volunteered for service in the US Army. He attended Officer Candidate School at Fort Benning, GA; and graduated as a 2LT in the Army Infantry. George served as a Training Officer at Fort Bliss, TX for one year; then as a Mobile Advisory Team Leader in Vietnam for his final year in the Army; and was awarded the Army Commendation Medal, as well as the Bronze Star for his service.
Upon return to civilian life; George worked for Baxter Laboratories, Carrier Air Conditioning; and Boeing, from which he retired after 20 years of service.
George's interests include Politics. He is a Constitutional Conservative Republican. Music George likes includes Eagles, The Mamas & the Papas, Frank...Expand for more
Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Johnny Mathis, John Denver, Jim Croce, Whitney Houston. Movies George likes include West Side Story, Moby Dick, From Here To Eternity, The Alamo, True Grit, Hud, Never So Few, Bullitt, The Great Race, Patton, Platoon. TV shows George likes include Blue Bloods, Boardwalk Empire, Last Man Standing, Seal Team. George's #1 interest was his support for the New England Patriots; his favorite NFL team since 1960. That interest ended when 29 players knelt during the National Anthem in September of 2018!
One of George's favorite quotes are: "Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country."; and "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." He strongly believes in Dr. Martin Luther King's dream that "all men may be judged not by the color of their skin; but by the content of their character".
