26 years librarian, 7 yrs Law Librarian & p-t faculty member (Lecturer - Political Science & Graduate School of Library and Information Science) at University of Western Ontario. Elected to Senate twice, and to Board of Governors just prior to my departure. Book reviewer, London Free Press [political biography and fiction],1981-1992."Early retired" UWO (downsized) 1996 - took a nice package and started over as a stockbroker with Midland Walwyn/Merrill Lynch in London,1997-99. Since 1999 with BMO Nesbitt Burns in London; great firm, great office.

in Butare, Rwanda and is now Executive Director of an Ottawa-based national media organization. Anthony, b.1990, is a student at King's College, UWO.
In the end, the kids are my proudest achievement!
I may retire within the next 3-5 years and, in my dreams, spend half the year on the Amalfi Coast or in Languedoc; more likely at our place on Lake Huron. But there is so much pleasure and creativity in being a financial advisor, and I love trading...I'm reluctant to let go of this life.

In sum, I'm not unhappy with the way life has turned out - I seem to thrive on stress, though I have to scale back.
