George's Story

Life I dropped out of Live Oak High School at the end of my freshman year, served in the Merchant Marines, returned to Live Oak as a sophomore at age 19, graduated in 1948 at age 21, returned to school at Yuba College in 1956, graduated in 1958, went to Chico State, graduated in 1960, started teaching at Bidwell ...Expand for more
School in Red Bluff, received my MA from Chico in 1963, taught 2 years at Red Bluff High School, and moved to teaching at Yuba College in 1965. I sold out and became an administrator in 1987, and I retired in 1991. In 2004 we moved to Vancouver Island, Canada, and we have a home overlooking the Strait of Georgia.
