Life I took the time to win my favorite girl, Suzy Cazel, and married her 4 years, almost to the day, after we first laid eyes on each other. After graduating High School, I enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, earned my Vietnam Surviver status, and had a very rewarding and successful military career. I retired in 1991. My second career was with Arizona Boys Ranch, working with criminal and very troubled 16-19 year old males from the L.A. basin. I quickly worked my way up to Director of Logistics and Purchasing. Politics caused the demize of this 50 year old, very successful program. I seperated from ABR a month before the corporation reorganized. In an effort to follow my dreams, I tryed my hand at starting a couple of personal business ventures, while I worked at a no-brainer 'just a job' to support my family and provide time for me to grow my businesses. These two businesses required my total time and attention. I wasn't willing to trade them for my family, so I closed them both. So, I had now came full circle by returning to doing what I enjoyed most -- Aircraft Avionics -- with Evergreen Air Center, northeast of Tucson. As a bonus to working on commercial and NASA aircraft, I got to travel to troubleshoot and repair serious problems on 'grounded' aircraft. I also got an all expenses paid, six weeks in Sao Palo, Brazil. After three years of five hour round trip commutes between our home in Phoenix and work near Tucson, as well as working 12 to 14 hour days just burnt me out; not to mention going through three cars.
