Georgene's Story
I'm living in Bay View not far from St. Francis. I've been married for 27 years to a great guy- Jim teaches at MSOE here in Milwaukee. I majored in sorority the first time , dropped out, got married , got divorced and went to school for dental hygiene. It really was fun cleaning Mr Abraham's teeth--- I teased him about how this was going to be retribution for those darn solo's I had to memorize
. I'm practically retired as is my husband. We spend our summers working as officials at hot air balloon competitions across the country and world. It's been fun and we've seen some great sights. No kids -- no regrets. No pets - no regrets. We have the best group of friends in the world!
I have season tickets for Wisconsin Badger Football and Basketball--I'm the sport nut. We have Gold package Packer tickets. I love NCAA baske...Expand for more
tball tournament time. We spend time at the cabin my parents built in Crivitz and canoe as often as we can. My husband cross country skis and has done the Birkibeiner for over 20 years. This means he loves the winter snow-- just my luck. I get my tan in the tanning booth.
My mother is in a nursing home with dementia so I get to see her often. My dad died ice fishing-- don't go on ice when it's black please.
I have good memories of high school but I never wish I was back there. These are the best times. I went to last year's reunion over Labor Day, but Jim wanted to spend time this year at the cabin. It would be great to see SFHS grads some other time. I don't visit Classmates much but I just received a note from the past that initiated this update.
