Time Marches On
Class of 74, wow, look back down from the hill, (I am not over it, but I can see the summit from here) things sure look different.
Well, been here on Classmates and just thinking about life in general. My life has been exciting, filled with lots of memories of love, the opposite of love, and plain old good times.
I am about to embark on getting my MBA to add to my things accomplished. My goal is to become a teacher. I have become a licensed Tax Preparer, something I have always wanted to do, and it is all that I hoped it would be. I will be glad that I am more seasoned at it though.
I am not one of those people who want to retire. I have seen my dad's friends retire, and then they expire for good. Two years later, after re...Expand for more
tiring, bam they buy the farm. I am not wanting to do that. My dad has kept working through his own business endeavors and he is still going strong and physically fit as they come.
My two lovely daughters are grown and doing their own thing. I don't ask and they don't tell me, and I feel that is the best way to approach it for now.
My granddaughter is growing like a weed, and she is following in her Auntie Aimee's footsteps, just like her, and curious as a cat. She is smart, plays sports, and likes to powwow dance. She will be learning her cultural training starting this year.
Well, don't have much more to say. I am busy, alive, and looking forward to the next fifty years of my life.
