Georgia Mochan's Story

Guess when you get 'older', you want to touch base and see how everyone is doing in their life. I hope by renewing my classmates site I hear from other Westinghouse Memorial classmates. Looking forward to that. School Remembering junior high and high school,I would change a lot of things I did. I would have hit the books a lot more. Set more goals.Got into a lot less mischief and into more school activities. Those things can't be changed, my good memories are of the other students, certain classes, some excellent teachers and the great school spirit of WMHS. The days at WMHS, were some of the best times of my life...Even when I got into a little trouble... As a childhood memory one morning going to church with my dad, and a bird did his business on my left arm, and I started to cry, my dad took out his hankie, wiped my tears off my cheeks, then wet it with spit (LOL) and wiped my arm clean. And told me it was good luck....and I could make a wish...and the whole way of walking to St. Al's he made me laugh and smile to take my mind off of what had happened. Over in front of the park, I was still kind of upset, but his humor, and kindness made me get over my being upset about the incident...And years later we laughed over my good luck charm on the way to church.I can still remember him holding my hand and us walking over the Bridge Street. Bridge to St. Aloysius........How would I like old friends to remember me from school? As a friendly person. A good friend. Someone they could trust with a secret. As loyal. Fun. As u get older, I would like to ask my classmates that remember me, exactly how they remember me...A question I have thought of a lot of over the years....... I always wanted to be a Writer when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a ? idea. As it turns out, they were ?. Because I never shared my dreams with them.... Blow off steam? I read. I talk. sometime shed some tears....don't like to argue or confrontation.... wildest thing I did in school, was skipped and we sneaked out through the boiler room in the middle school, crawled out a coal shoot, got all dirty and musty, but laughed the whole time. But as Karma has a way of stepping in, Mr. Manis caught us heading to the park, and brought us back to school...I sat in his office the rest of the day... As to a hero.My answer is very simple, My Father, because he is the only male in my life that never broke my heart or made me cry.... Pets: we have always had a dog in our life, until my Dakota passed away last yr, in March of 2010.... Biggest surprise: not leaving the...Expand for more
area....Improve home: I'd move, into a Ranch style home, all on one floor...my dream home... Learned from being a Parent: Knowing that loving someone more than u love your own life. Wanting them to have a better life than u had. Unconditional love and forgiveness....something my parents lived by....and taught us the same... Which teacher would I like to see again: actually 2, Mr. Monoyoudis, because of that smile and warmth he showed every student, (even though I know he is gone) and Mrs.Hoffman:one of the nicest and kindest teachers, that u could go and talk anything over with her. She really helped me when I was in a jam....will never forget that.... If I won a Million I'd give a lot of it to my family, and my church & The Make a Wish Foundation, then spend the rest on a vacation, a home, and traveling....To be truly happy, I would be living in my Ranch style home, traveling with friends & family.... My current age is 63. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be in a nursing home. I was so completely wrong.. My best friend would tell you I'm Nice, supportive & happy, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as talkative, yet distant with my inner feelings.. Yes, I do, I try to dress like I feel inside. If it makes me feel good about myself...and confident. And I make a good impression...Weirdest job, was right out of school, in a cleaners, I just remember it being so hot in the summer, and could hardly wait to get home to take a cool shower....One do over, I would go back to the age of 14, and start all over again....and change a lot of things... In 10 years, I hope to be Alive and well. I'm going to get there by doing the best I can, and praying I make it..... Toby, we grew up together. Down the street from me. We just clicked. I love her sense of humor, her quiet, gentle compassionate soul. Could say anything I wanted to her, tell her anything. It just always felt like we should be friends. What would surprise those at a high school reunion, I love to dance, and have a free spirit kinda attitude about myself. Am usually very outspoken, and I tell everyone I have no filter, I say what I think. I am very honest, so I tell everyone if they don't want to hear the truth, then don't ask me for my input. And my family calls me the Queen of the One Liners....My mom always told me my witty one liners would one day make me blush when someone would be offended by one of them.....She would always end our conversations, by saying, "Well, have u got a one liner joke to make. And it usually made her laugh....
