Georgie's Story
Had the greatest time visiting with my family in Panama and Florida this spring. Looking to buy some land in Panama and retire there soon. Can you believe it with all the moving I have done in my life you would think I would just throw out an anchor and stay for more than just a while. I have the itch to travel and move and live in and experience differnt places but I also feel the need to have a base, somewhere I can come back to.
Love boating, moved off the sail boat, built a big house and filled it with stuff. I could live on a large, huge, sail boat again if I had to, the stuff is just that stuff.
Love my nieces and nephew. Wish I knew were Christina was and how she is doing.
Miss you and you know who you are. Wish I could have you come by for a visit in Olalla when you are in the neighborhood.
My parents are my heros. Just think about it, a white man from Tennesse goes to Panama marries a mixed race woman with three children and comes to the USA where Jim Crow rules the land. If that wasn't activism by action, not just words I don't know what is. They had courage when many were shrinking from the issues at hand. Who's decision is it to say who you can love and marry? That is an issue that faces our country now. But now it is not about race... do I need to spell it out for you?

escued dogs. To date, we have had 6 total. My favorite past time is watching my dogs play and enjoy what ever life they have left when I get them. Sadly I have had to put three down in the past 5 years.
I work as a Physician Assistant. It is a job that I love. I look forward to going to work every day. I had dreamed of entering the medical profession as a doctor when I graduated from Highschool but life took a different course, all of it in the medical field.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is my mom, because she died too young and so suddenly from a CVA. She was a great woman and I would love to see how she would have done as we got older and our lives evolved. Those who knew her know that she was earthy, loving, caring, thoughtful and an exceptional woman. She was a woman who had great positive impact on lives of many and did so in a quiet and unassuming way. Those of you who never met her, I wish you could have known her, you would have liked her, you probably would have called her mom like many of the young airmen that worked with my dad did.
If I won $100 million, I'd give a great amount of it to HIV and AIDS research, then spend the rest on a retirement plan, property in Panama and creat a scholarship fund for physician assisstants at the medical school where I completed my training.
