Gerald F.'s Story
Like most of us, I've come a long way from my high school (daze). Early fifties now, taller forehead and lots of grey/white in my beard. Going into my eighth year now working with a pottery studio. (Thats after nearly twenty five years cooking for a living. Which I had to give up due to a surgically induced stroke at thirty).
So now I throw clay around. Hand built all my pieces and help run the place. Out on the coast now since 1980. No children but thanks to my siblings (and I have a fair number of them) I have fourteen nieces ...Expand for more
and nephews. As well a great-niece and a great-nephew.
(Who just turned nine and twelve this month).
High school years and the people I chummed with seem like another life and to someone else that looked like me it seems. That (for me) is over thirty years ago now. I am hoping to make it to Ottawa for the next reunion. There are a number of old friends (and teachers if they have not gone on to the great beyond); who I would like to see again. It will be strange to be there for the reunion and walk the hallways of the school.
