Gerald's Story

Life I was a real exuberant ROTC cadet in high school. I joined the Marine Corps Reserve after high school. I'm a cook by trade and currently live in Chicago, my place of birth. I'm also completing a novel about the Black soldier in World War II. I'm single with no children but I'm looking for a helpmeet. I hope to finish my book by the fall of this year. School I was considered a nerd in grammar and high school. I don't regret at all because I was being myself!! I was attracted to subjects that other people were'nt interested in.I look back and do have regrets that on some occasions I let peer pressure get to me. To anyone I know that remembers me I apologize if I ever said or did anything hurtful to you!!! Be yourself and that self that is pleasing to God. remember him always and you can't go wrong!!!! I always wanted to be a soldier when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a bad and good idea. As it turns out, they were both right and wrong. I listen to jazz, dr...Expand for more
aw, paint and write. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have book/pens, paper, and pencil to be able to deal with the day-to-day. My inspiration comes from many resources but God is my soource for everything. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Johnny Rucker, because he picked on me for seven years and I still despise him for it.. I love the Twilight Zone, The Naked City, Combat If I could improve my home, I'd remodel the kitchen and add on a sun roof for my garage. My dream home would be 7 bedrooms.. If I won $100 million, I'd give to charity most of it to an HBCU, then spend the rest on building black , owned and operated businesses. Lived at Templin Hall, Spring Semester 1983 University of Kansas, Lawrence My current age is 47. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be so boring and unattractive.. I was so completely WRONG!. I'm now 48. And today is March 30th 2012. And I shall stay the course! Writing, artwork, walking.

I'm not finished with this painting. The one thing about watercolor pieces is that they're easier to redo when you make some mistakes.
