Gerald's Story
I have some contact with old school mates that have become life long friends. After school I hit the surf then head back to the RUHS pool. I was a general pain in the ass at Hillcrest but settled down at RUHS.
I started commercial fishing in 1965 and that took up most of my weekends during school and most summer weeks. I always loved the ocean and being out to sea for a few weeks at a time. Between surfing and fishing I didn't invole myself with school activites or socialize very much. I would rather ride my bicycle down to the strand. t was home to me for 11 years. I lived on houseboats and built one of a kind floating homes. I moved to Incline Village at Lake Tahoe to work on other unique building projects. Then moved to Taos, NM for six months. Beautiful area but short on work and I'm no artist. So back to Sausalito I went to build more floating homes.
Did the marriage thing, bought a home in San Rafael, CA and then came two beautiful daughters. My best work so far. Then we did the divorce thing.
I was a general contractor for ten years which led to my present occupaton in construction litigation. It takes me around California and down to Las Vegas on occasion.
