Gerald's Story
Graduated Compton High School in 1981. Retired from United States Air Force where I served 24 combined years in Law Enforcement, K-9, Security Forces, Air Base Ground Defense , and ultimately the Security Forces Squadron's First Sergeant.
My Duty Stations included: Clark Air Base Republic of the Philippines, King Salmon Air Station Alaska, Ellsworth AFB South Dakota, Vandenberg AFB California, Bergstrom AFB. Texas, both Kelly and Lackland Air Forces Bases in Texas, and a brief tour in Incirlik Turkey. I served during the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta Georgia , Operation Northern Watch , Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Noble Eagle.
God has blessed me with my Beautiful wife " Cecilia" of over 27 years. We have two Beautiful Children ( my 25 yr. old son, Gerald II or aka Bubba "SSgt with the Illinois Air National Guard and my beautiful daughter Sabrina" who is 24 an...Expand for more

I enjoy spending time with family, friends, fishing, and helping others .
I have worked in the Public Housing Industry with the San Antonio Housing for over 19 years and after completing a Master of Arts Degree with Wayland Baptist University, I relocated to Illinois where I continued my career with the Federal Government for the U S. Department Housing and Urban Development initially as a Senior Project Manager for Troubled Projects and later promoted to Branch Chief, Asset Resolution Specialist Branch, Office of Multifamily Housing in the Chicago Illinois Regional HUD Office.
I enjoy connecting with old friends, making new friends, and taking pride in viewing the successes of our Compton High Alumni.
It's nice to see the pictures and read of fellow classmate's. My hope and prayers are for good health and well wishes for everyone from the Class of 81!
