Life
My Spouse
I met my first husband at the A&W Drive-In on Broad Street. He was in the Air Force stationed at Shaw AFB. I met my second(current husband)at church in Sacramento, California
My Kids
I have 3 children of my own and 4 step-children. My own children are as follows:
Son, Gerald (Jerry), was born 11/63. He lives near Reno, Nevada and works for Amazon. He is married to a hairdresser and they have 3 daughters and 1 son. My oldest daughter, Crystal, was born 2/68. She lives in Rocklin, CA and is a Medical Transcriber. Her husband is in management for the State of CA and they have 2 sons. My youngest daughter, Heidi, was born 5/74. She lives in Galt, CA and works for Sutter Radiological Oncology . Her husband is in telecommunications and they have 1 son and 2 daughters. My step-daughter, Vena, passed away 7/31/2001. She was a school teacher and was married to a minister. They have 2 sons and 1 daughter. My oldest step-son, Larry, lives in Eagle, Idaho and is a Pediatric Dentist. His wife works part-time at their church and they have 1 daughter and 1 son. My second step-son, Trent, lives in Taft, CA and is a minister. His wife works as the administrative assistant to the warden at the prison in Taft. They have 1 daughter and 1 son. My youngest step-son, John, lives in Lancaster, CA and is ...Expand for more
a minister. His wife is a secretary for a missionary and she teaches piano & organ. They have 1 son.
Update 1/20/03: Since doing my original bio much has happened in our family. My dad passed away in Florence, SC 5/19/02, and my children's dad(my ex) passed away 1/12/03. On the brighter side my youngest daughter Heidi is expecting her 3rd child(a girl). This will be the 17th grandchild for me and my husband.
My Job
I'm a Senior Medical Underwriter for an insurance company. I do misrepresentation a.k.a. fraud investigation. I have been doing underwriting since 1979.
Updated 7/25/2014: I'm now retired and I'm not quite sure that I like retired life. There is only so much one can do around the house in a day and with my bad back I have a housekeeper that comes in every other Friday to handle the heavy cleaning. I've now had both hips replaced due to arthritis and just plain wearing out because of my gait with my handicap. My husband had kidney cancer and in Nov.2009 had surgery to remove his left kidney and he has mild to moderate dementia of Alzheimer's type and takes medication that has kept it stable. We praise God daily that he is cancer free for almost 5 years. We keep on keeping on even with the aches & pains we both endure because God is always faithful to u0s..
