Gerri's Story

School I started school at William C. Jack school and then they built Bicentennial. I went to Bicentennial until I graduated eighth grade. From there I went to Independance H.S. I dropped out as a sophmore but went back to school in California at Fred C. Byers, where they were also Patriots. I dropped out again in my Junior year and moved back to Arizona with a man who is now my x-husband. He moved us to Wisconsin, where he left me and our 2 boys. I then met another man whom I have a beautiful daughter with, but that didn't last either. I then decided at the age of 21 to get my life back together so I went back to High School. I graduated second in the state of Wisconsin. I then moved to Colorado to be closer to my family. I started college at the Community College of Denver. ...Expand for more
While attending there, I lost my mind and fell in love and got married. I then dropped out of college with only 5 classes to go to recieve my Associates Degree in Human Services.I went throught alot of life changes after that but I feel I am heading back towards the right road. I start back to school April 14, 2003 at Parks College where I am majoring in Homeland Security. I will be finished with school in November and then will hopefully move on in life towards a great career. College College overwhelmed me but I made it through it with straight A's and stayed on the Presidents list so that I could graduate with honors. I am now a Homeland Security Specialist. I have not found a job in this field as of yet but I have several interviews to attend so I am hoping for the best.
