Gerry's Story
Headed off to UBC right after high school and ended up with a degree in physical education before realizing that I should follow my passion of fishing, so then went to BCIT for Fish, Wildlife, Recreation. Lived, worked, and attended SFU in Lower Mainland before finally making my escape back to the Okanagan in 1997.
Met my wife Linda at UBC in 1979 and we're happily living in Vernon with no kids...Expand for more
and no pets. I'm self-employed as an environmental consultant under the name Naito Environmental (there's a website), while Linda is retired.
Took up running as a sport around 2003 and have also completed several triathlons.
We're both avid flyfishers and try to get out on the interior lakes as much as we can when we're not working, running, swimming, cycling,or getting together with friends.
