Life
After graduating from CVS, attended Southeast Jr College (Wilson) for one year. In 1960 I jointed the AF and retired in 1981. Went to Worsham College for Mortuary Science, 81/82, and ran family funeral home for several years. Graduated from Parkland College 1985. Worked for the AF as a civilan from Feb 83-Sep 99. Transferred to USDA in Chicago IL. In Oct 1999, married Annette Williams, who I dated in 53/54. She passed in June 2002. Retired from USDA in March 2003, and now just taking it easy. Moved to Urbana IL in June 04, and purchased a new home. I am a six time great grand father as of July 2012. In Oct 2007, went to the CVS class reunion (57), and met my old childhood sweetheart. Park Manor Grade school, when she and her twin first moved to Chicago with their parents. We were sweet on each other from 52-53, and attended CVS together. We married on May 15, 2010 - see pictures posted. My cousin told me that I was playing it safe by going back in my past and marrying my childhood sweethearts, maybe so, but both marriages were great. Better safe then sorry I say. My last wife Beverly passed on Sep 14, 2013, at home, she was the love of my life, really miss her. On Dec 22, 2021, once again I married, my current wife name is Barbara. We still live in Flossmoor, IL. The only thing bad about growing old is you loose so many of those who you loved and were friends along the way.
