Life I attended the University of Hawaii for 3 years and ran on the Track team on a scholarship. I left Hawaii in 1958 and settled in Santa Rosa, California. I attended the Santa Rosa Junior College on a part time basis until I joined the United States Marine to fulfill my military obligation. I worked for the State of California following my release from the Marines and eventually married my wife Deanna whom I met at the Junior College. We eventually moved to San Jose, California so I could complete my education at San Jose State College. I graduated in 1965 and was offered a job at the Santa Clara County Probation. I worked for 26 years as a Probation Officer and retired in 1991. I have 3 daughters and 6 grandchildren ranging in ages from 3 ...Expand for more

Hanging out with great granddaughters Jade and Jess on their birthday. Ages 13, 15, and 83 are just numbers. You’re only as old as you feel. Getting younger, my hair came back.
Forget the Hawaii and Mexico vacations until we have a cure for Covid 19. Right now it’s running, hiking and swimming , in the backyard. Trying to stay healthy.

Seems like spring in my backyard. Warm sunny day, trees in bloom, and allergy in the air.
Enjoying another day in paradise, golden years still golden.

Couple of 80 year olds working out. People always ask me how old before I quit working out and the answer is I keep working out so I don’t get old. Merry Xmas and have a happy and healthy 2019.
Picture of me at the SF Fairmont hotel with the new statue of Tony Bennett behind. He made his famous song here. They have a hugh ginger bread house in the hotel, good enough to eat.
I think my grandsons CJ and Walker are a bit taller than me. They got taller and I got shorter with age.
Little warm in Palm Springs, close to 120 degrees. Little cooler today but few golfers. Stayed indoors or swimming.
Celebrating 57 Year Anniversary with celebrity chef Martin Yan at his San Francisco restaurant. Grate guy, great meal.
Went to Tadich Grill in San Francisco the oldest restaurant in SF(1849). Their signature dish is the Seafood Ciappino considered the best anywhere. They serve 22,000 of this dish every year and it was great. Clam chowder
