Biography of
Gina Van Luven
I was born in Dallas, Texas, in 1967, but have lived in Arizona most of my life. IÂm married with three children, a dog, two geckos, two frogs, and a bunch of fish. IÂm beginning to feel like my house is more of a zoo than a human habitat. My family and I enjoy snow skiing, camping, going to the beach/swimming, and other outdoor activities. Even with our hectic work and school schedules, we still find time for some R&R. :)
I went to thirteen different schools as a child; so my life wasnÂt exactly easy. However, I grew up in spite of my childhood and chose to learn from my experiences instead of dwell upon that which I could not change. I believe in faith, hope, love, and the afterlife. I believe that anything is possible, and that everything happens for a reason (even the bad things). I am open to change and new experiences, but will not compromise my values and integrity, which continue to grow stronger as grow older and wiser. ious, passionate side. If I werenÂt so frustrated with politics IÂd be a politician, as it would allow me to use my passion and creativity for worthwhile causes. Perhaps someday IÂll change my attitude toward politics. ;-)
I have a Bachelor of Science in Business Management (honors), and graduated from Dale Carnegie (twice) with the Highest Award for Achievement. I recently left a 10-year career in web design and project management to follow a passion I have for nutrition and environmental health, and plan to attend Clayton College of Natural Health in the spring of 2006. I believe that if given the proper tools, people can heal themselves from disease and illness, and would like to learn more about this concept, so I can help others improve their health. I currently market environmentally friendly products that are safer for humans and animals, and do independent health care consulting. I am also a Girl Scout Leader and a volunteer instructor for Junior Achievement, and truly enjoy helping people of all ages.
