Gina's Story
I grew up in Langhorne and lived there until I was 12. I attended wen to Neshaminy Middle up to the 7th grade. That is when my parents divorced and I moved to Philly with my mom, sister and brother. I went to Austin Meehan for 8th grade, it was a huge adjustment from the suburban schools to city schools. For high school I attended both Abraham Lincoln and Swenson Skill Center at the same time. I enjoyed Swenson so much it made me apply myself more in school and I continued onto Temple University. There I received a degree in early childhood and elementary education. Now I am a teacher in the Philadelphia school district.
I am currently married to John Griffith. Not the John I dated in high school. This John is much smarter and does not play the guitar! We have been together for almost 17 years and married for 14. We have 4 children, two girls and two boys. The old...Expand for more
est is 16 and she is not mine biologically but that is just semantics, I feel like she is mine. I have been in her life since her birth. We have twins that are nine, one boy and one girl. She is blind and he is multi-disabled due to a premature birth. They are both a challenge, but worth it. Our youngest is a four year old boy, he was full term. He is not disabled but he still is a handful.
I try to keep in touch with all my friends both old and new. I lost touch with many from Langhorne but still think of them at times, Heather C, Megan C, Trisha B, Michelle C, Diane W, Jody + Dee Dee+ Timmy J, Barbie M, and so many others.. I'd love to hear how you are. I only managed to keep in touch with Karen D and Lisa M.
Some friends I miss from Philly are Shannon R, Shannon C, Dawn B, Lisa, Patty C, Jill S, Agnes K. I see or talk to everyone else at least occasionally.
